Jeffery

Degree Qualified Psychotherapist

I hold a Post Graduate Degree in Holistic Psychotherapy. I chose to study the trauma-informed, holistic model as I recognised the importance of this approach to meet each client's individual needs. I hold a safe, supportive space and solid foundation for clients to do the work toward inner peace, beyond what may have led them to seek support in the first place.

I’m a somatic health advocate supporting the restoration of the body-mind system. This is why I’m grateful to be a part of the team here at NC that embraces a cutting edge holistic approach to healing, supporting both mental and physical health. I’m a member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia.

When not in session you’ll find me on a yoga mat, surfing, in an infrared sauna or enjoying all the hikes the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland has to offer.

What does wellbeing look like for you — day to day?

For me, it’s about creating space to pause. That might be starting the day with breathwork, taking regular walks in nature, or making time for slow, nourishing meals with my family.

What’s one small ritual or practice that keeps you centred?

I swim at the same beach most mornings — rain, hail, or shine. It’s my reset button and helps me start the day feeling grounded and clear.

Why did you choose to work in this space?

I swim at the same beach most mornings — rain, hail, or shine. It’s my reset button and helps me start the day feeling grounded and clear.

If you weren’t doing this, what would you be doing?

Probably something creative and outdoors — maybe a landscape gardener or working on a little regenerative farm somewhere in the hinterland.

What’s one thing you wish people knew about recovery?

That it’s not about fixing yourself — it’s about coming home to who you really are. Recovery is possible, and it doesn’t have to look the same for everyone.
